Made in Mashpee for Sandwich homes

GR Custom Woodwork finishes basements in Sandwich, MA, turning unfinished space into family rooms, media rooms, wet bars and guest space, with the built-in cabinetry made in our own Mashpee shop.

Sandwich is the oldest town on Cape Cod, and many homes in Sandwich Village and East Sandwich call for woodwork that respects their age. Forestdale borders Mashpee, so our crew is never far away.

We finish basements for homes in Sandwich Village, East Sandwich and Forestdale, and across Sandwich.

What we build

  • Family and media rooms

Media walls with built-in TV cabinets, shelving and fireplaces, laid out around how your family uses the space.

  • Wet bars and kitchenettes

Cabinets, islands and open shelving for a second kitchen or a bar downstairs.

  • Guest rooms and offices

Finished rooms with closets and built-in storage for guests, work or hobbies.

  • Storage that fits

Built-ins under stairs and along walls so the basement stays organized after it is finished.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer free estimates for basement finishing?

Yes. We visit your home in Sandwich, MA, take measurements and talk through what you want, then send a written estimate. Call (508) 648-8998 or use the form on this page.

Who does the work?

Our own team, start to finish. We cut, assemble, paint and install everything ourselves, with no subcontractors, so the person who measured your space is part of the crew that installs it.

What can a finished basement include?

Most of our basement projects combine a living area with built-in cabinetry: a media wall, a wet bar or kitchenette, storage and sometimes a guest room or office.

Do you build the cabinetry for the basement too?

Yes. The cabinets, media walls and shelving are built in our Mashpee shop and installed by the same crew that finishes the space.
